Ncgowns.com has been known to sell knock-off formal dresses
After investigating Ncgowns.com, it has been discovered that this website is from Asia and they sell formal dresses that are not from the original designer, but copies that they make based upon a picture. Ncgowns has been added to our Do Not Buy list. They are illegally selling one or more dress lines using the manufacturers pictures or pictures from actual people without their permission. These dresses are imitations and not authentic from the actual designer. Buyer beware!

"Another dress company based in China. No way to get a hold of them, bad products, dishonest and you can't return items. They will make excuses and it will be hell. They will take your money and run. You will be left with very cheap, poor quality and workmanship products, and no customer service at all! They go under other names jj gowns, so gowns, etc. Always check where the product is made. If no phone number or international number, don't do it! You will wish you hadn't. I ordered from a Chinese company-Anniecloth and I was treated horribly. It took 2 months, awful service, poor products, not correct sizes, would not refund even 15% made lots of excuse. Never again! Look at reviews for sogowns and see. I didn't order from this company but its the same treatment from any of these Chinese companies."
"Ordered a Mother of the Bride Gown. Took 13 weeks to get it. It said plainly on the website returns were welcome. It didn't fit and I wanted to return. Turns out this company is based in China. They gave no return label or info in package of how to return. Started communication with company by email (only option) They took 4 days to reply, every time asking to make another instead of just returning. Turns out there return window is 15 days. They kept me emailing 4 more times over the next 15 days only continuing to ask if they could make another. After I demanded to get my money back and pay for shipping they stopped communication. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! FRAUD!"

NC Gowns is a false advertisement company. I ordered a gown for my daughter’s wedding. They charged me for custom fees and expedited delivery. The item has no labels on each piece not even a tag to show the back from front. Also no sales tags this way when you try to return they can say you took off the tags. The item was stuffed in a shipping bag with no bag to protect item inside. They don’t respond from the returns dept. They advertised that they are from the UK and they are from China. I am trying to get a return authorization so I can ship back. Do not order from them. It is fraud.
