FirstDresss.com has been known to sell knock-off formal dresses

Upon researching and investigating FirstDresss.com, this website is connected to AllaGown.com, Caekee.com, CaekeeDress.com, GownsMe.com, JoDresses.com, Ncgowns.com, SoGowns.com, VeDress.co.uk, Votidress.co.uk and Agown.co.uk. 

It has been discovered that these websites are from Asia and they sell formal dresses that are not from the original designer, but copies that they make based upon a picture. FirstDresss has been added to our Do Not Buy list and have been known to scam people. They are illegally selling one or more dress lines using the manufacturers pictures or pictures from actual people without their permission. These dresses are imitations and not authentic from the actual designer. We have personally received many calls from people who have never received their order or cannot reach them. Buyer beware!

"I ordered a dress on May 9th and paid $25 dollars extra to have it rushed order. It is now August 27th and I still have not received my order. Obviously at this point I do not want the dress but they immediately charged my account on the day I emailed the order. I have tried with no luck contacted the company. The number is a non working number and they will not respond to any of my emails."

"When I received the dress I ordered, I noticed immediately that it was extremely heavy. It was doubly lined in the long skirt, and triple lined in the bodice. The lace of the bodice did not meet up evenly in the back. I emailed the company the next day informing them of these mistakes, and that I wanted to return and receive a refund. They first offered to remake the dress, I declined. I repeatedly emailed them asking for return procedures every day for almost 3 weeks. They then replied they needed photos. I sent photos and waited another week. They then said the dress would need to be returned to China before they would process my refund... the return address on the package was from New York, not China. On this company's website, they state they will accept returns and refunds if you are not satisfied - this is not true. They will do everything to delay, or get away with not refunding your money. DO NOT ORDER from this website!"

FirstDresss.com has been added to our knock-off dress list. This company ships knock-off dresses from Asia and is trying to take advantage of consumers by selling dresses they claim to be authentic. This store uses images from manufacturers illegally under US copyright law.

Be extra safe when shopping online and do your research before buying from a company that you are not sure of!

Paid over $200USD for a dress and it has never arrived and they are refusing to refund my money. They keep saying to check with USPS. It has been over 30 days now since my initial ask for a refund. I will now dispute the charge with my credit card company. Do not buy from this company—it is a scam!!

I bought a dress for my daughter’s wedding. It arrived crammed in a small plastic bag, looked nothing like what was pictured, was about 3 sizes too small (the bottom half of the dress was sizes smaller than the top), and the dress smelled terrible. I have not been getting anything than the runaround as far as trying to return it, so I am disputing the charge on my America Express card. This dress is so hideous that I have to believe that any positive reviews must be phony.

I ordered a mother of the bride dress in feb 6 2021 and the order 39244954 size 8 ! I payed 25.00 more for fast shipping still waiting , I will go further with this problem and have this company investget Need I response from this company now !!!

I ordered a dress from them and it took forever to arrive. When it finally did,it looked awful on me and did not fit in the shoulders. I have spent three weeks going back and forth trying to return it . They are very uncooperative and return fraudulent! Do not buy from them!

Our general return policy applies to all eligible products except certain dresses listed below. You may return product(s) within 7 days for either a store credit or you may make an exchange. We do not issue refunds. A store credit will be issued minus a 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returns/exchanges. We do not profit from this restocking fee since our suppliers charge us this fee. An RMA must be submitted for approval in order to return an item. Shipping fees, if any, which were applied at purchase are not refunded. Once the item is received, an email will be sent to you with a store credit code that does not expire or an exchange will be processed.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO RETURN AN ITEM?

We offer a 7-day return window for most purchases (exclusions listed below).

The return window begins when your package is marked "Delivered" by the tracking system. From that time, you have 7 days (including weekends and holidays) to make a return/exchange request. You will be unable to submit a return/exchange request after that 7-day period.

ABOUT RE:DO RETURNS

  • Customers now have the option to pay $1.98 at the time of purchase to later qualify for free returns on that order.
  • Didn’t add and checkout with Re:Do? You will still return like normal and purchase a label through them with discounted shipping rates saving you time and money!

WHAT ITEMS ARE EXCLUDED FROM RETURNS AND EXCHANGES?

The following items are not eligible for a return or exchange:

  • Clearance items (will be clearly marked "Clearance" or have the price that does not end in $xx.99 or $xx.98)
  • Wedding gowns
  • Quinceanera dresses
  • Cinderella Divine Black Label
  • Tiaras
  • Designer dresses by Andrea & Leo Couture and DeKlaire Bridal

ARE THERE ANY FEES FOR RETURNING AN ELIGIBLE ITEM?

The following fees are as follows:

  • If shipping was complimentary at checkout, original freight/handling cost will be deducted.
  • Customer is responsible for shipping costs on return/exchanged items if RE:DO was not added to your order at checkout.
  • A 15% restocking fee for all returns will be accessed.
  • Packages that are denied and "returned to sender" or refused will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.
  • Please note that any amount paid for shipping is non-refundable.

WHAT IF I WANT TO MAKE AN EXCHANGE?

If you would like to make an exchange for a different size or dress, simply submit an RMA by clicking here . Once approved, you will receive an email with instructions. The exchange process can take 7-12 days. Once the item has been received and approved, you will receive an email with a code that you can use to apply on our website to make an exchange. You will go through the checkout process online.

If time is of the essence, place a new order for the item you need, then contact us by email informing us of this decision. If for some reason the item that you ordered is not available, it will not constitute a refund. In such a case, a store credit will be issued once the original dress has been returned.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR RETURNED ITEMS?

  • Returns are carefully inspected; all original tags must be in place and the product must not show any signs of wear or damage.
  • Items found with snags, worn, washed, altered, ripped, stained, grease marks, pet hair, pen marks, perfume, deodorant stains, smoke odor and/or missing tags will be returned immediately at the customer's expense.
