I know you’ve heard it before, the old saying, “You are what you eat”. Studies are popping up everywhere confirming that the statement is actually true. What you consume can, in fact, affect your outward appearance. Follow the tips below to make sure you look fabulous at your upcoming event.

Examine Your Dietary Habits

Many changes that the body incurs can be traced back to your diet. Doctors often recommend that patients keep a food diary when they notice certain changes in the body. Taking a close look at your diet can give key indicators of why your body is reacting a certain way.

You’ll want to pay attention to these factors that can directly affect the body and skin include: refined grains, sugar intake, Omega-6 fatty acids.

Refined grains have high amounts of carbohydrates. High carb intake is directly related to increased insulin levels and increased insulin levels mean higher sugar levels in the blood. Increased amounts of sugar in the blood can create thriving environments for candida to grow. By eliminating the sugar, we can reduce things like acne and inflammation within the body.

Additionally, you’ll want to monitor your fat intake. A small amount of fat is very necessary for the body to function properly. If you want clear, blemish-free skin go for antioxidants like vitamin C, which helps facilitate collagen production. Foods that are high in antioxidants include: oranges, blueberries, grapes (purple, red and blue), dark leafy greens, nuts, sweet potatoes. Antioxidants have also been shown to lower risks of certain cancers.

Taking a daily multivitamin ensures that you’re getting the necessary nutrients that your body needs to thrive. Select an appropriate multivitamin based off your age and any deficiencies that you might have. Some multivitamins may have supplements or additives like collagen for hair and nail growth, energy boosters for those that need increased focusing ability, and probiotics for those with digestion issues. A thriving body working in optimal condition can mean all of the difference.

You should be drinking about half your weight in ounces. Women that continually maintain hydration produce less acne, look more youthful, and have more energy. Water intake also has a direct impact on how supple your skin looks. As you can see, staying hydrated is vital if you want to cultivate beauty from within the body.

Our general return policy applies to all eligible products except certain dresses listed below. You may return product(s) within 7 days for either a store credit or you may make an exchange. We do not issue refunds. A store credit will be issued minus a 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returns/exchanges. We do not profit from this restocking fee since our suppliers charge us this fee. An RMA must be submitted for approval in order to return an item. Shipping fees, if any, which were applied at purchase are not refunded. Once the item is received, an email will be sent to you with a store credit code that does not expire or an exchange will be processed.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO RETURN AN ITEM?

We offer a 7-day return window for most purchases (exclusions listed below).

The return window begins when your package is marked "Delivered" by the tracking system. From that time, you have 7 days (including weekends and holidays) to make a return/exchange request. You will be unable to submit a return/exchange request after that 7-day period.

ABOUT RE:DO RETURNS

  • Customers now have the option to pay $1.98 at the time of purchase to later qualify for free returns on that order.
  • Didn’t add and checkout with Re:Do? You will still return like normal and purchase a label through them with discounted shipping rates saving you time and money!

WHAT ITEMS ARE EXCLUDED FROM RETURNS AND EXCHANGES?

The following items are not eligible for a return or exchange:

  • Clearance items (will be clearly marked "Clearance" or have the price that does not end in $xx.99 or $xx.98)
  • Wedding gowns
  • Quinceanera dresses
  • Cinderella Divine Black Label
  • Tiaras
  • Designer dresses by Andrea & Leo Couture and DeKlaire Bridal

ARE THERE ANY FEES FOR RETURNING AN ELIGIBLE ITEM?

The following fees are as follows:

  • If shipping was complimentary at checkout, original freight/handling cost will be deducted.
  • Customer is responsible for shipping costs on return/exchanged items if RE:DO was not added to your order at checkout.
  • A 15% restocking fee for all returns will be accessed.
  • Packages that are denied and "returned to sender" or refused will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.
  • Please note that any amount paid for shipping is non-refundable.

WHAT IF I WANT TO MAKE AN EXCHANGE?

If you would like to make an exchange for a different size or dress, simply submit an RMA by clicking here . Once approved, you will receive an email with instructions. The exchange process can take 7-12 days. Once the item has been received and approved, you will receive an email with a code that you can use to apply on our website to make an exchange. You will go through the checkout process online.

If time is of the essence, place a new order for the item you need, then contact us by email informing us of this decision. If for some reason the item that you ordered is not available, it will not constitute a refund. In such a case, a store credit will be issued once the original dress has been returned.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR RETURNED ITEMS?

  • Returns are carefully inspected; all original tags must be in place and the product must not show any signs of wear or damage.
  • Items found with snags, worn, washed, altered, ripped, stained, grease marks, pet hair, pen marks, perfume, deodorant stains, smoke odor and/or missing tags will be returned immediately at the customer's expense.
