Are the top and jacket of the silver dress also embellished with sequins or glitter? It's not evident in the photo? If it is embellished what exactly is the embellishment and how is it applied?

Any part of this dress that has lace is embellished with silver glitter.  The glitter is sporadic throughout the lace areas. 

Is it possible to get extra length?

The length cannot be added to the dress since it is already made. It is approximately 58 inches from top of shoulder to hem.

I received this dress in navy in the mail today. I love the dress but I need 3xl instead of the 2xl I ordered. Can I exchange this?

Measurements are bust 40 - waist 39-hips 43 and I am just under 5 ft 8 inches tall and wear flats...what size would I order?

Based on your waist size of 39 inches, I would have to recommend a size 3XL, which measures about 40.5 inches.  However the size 2XL may work for you  since it measures approximately 37.5 inches. I always recommend to my customers that when selecting a size to base their decision by the waist measurement of the dress.  If you plan on using a body shaper, the size 2XL may be just fine for you, with a little tailoring at the top. 

Can dress be returned if it dies the fit for a refund?

Are the sleeves see through? Silver one looks lined..... Which would be great.

How long would it take to ship this dress in Dusty Rose, size 3XL to Princeton, MN? I need it for my son's wedding before Sept. 26th.

Love your gowns. Do you have anything for 5'2" in height?

If you locate a local seamstress in your area, they can hem a dress to any length you want. That's what I would recommend based on your height, especially if you want something shorter. We actually have a shorter version of this dress as well. 

I have large arms. I usually wear a 20 but am thinking of ordering a 24. What do you think? I could take in the dress a little.

Is the jacket that comes with this dress lined? The silver looks like it is but the other colors don't.

The jacket is not lined. The jacket is made of lace. The gold or dusty rose picture will give you more detail of the jacket. 

I love the purple plum color on the model, but the color swatch looks like a lilac color. Is the true color a darker color?

The color swatch is not reflective of the color of the plum dress.  The model wearing the dress in plum is what the color looks like and what you would receive. 

How true to size is this ? Inthe store a 2 C is to big and this is saying I'm closer to a 3X?

Is the lace stiff or soft?

The lace/embroidery is soft in regards to pliability.  The jacket is not "stiff" like getting into a starched suit, but pliable to your arms allowing you normal movement.

I am 47 bust, 44.5 in waist and 53 in the hips. Is there any stretch in this dress?

Based on your measurements, I would recommend the size 4xl. This dress is not particularly stretchy as it is made of chiffon georgette fabric.

I typed in gold and it came up silver! Also I would want a size 6 if available.

As of September 9, 2020, the silver color is not available in all sizes. It is currently out of stock.  We expect the silver to be restocked about the first week of October, 2020. 

I recommend to all my customers that when choosing a size, to look at the size chart located near the description of each dress and base your decision by your waist measurement. This is important because if you cannot zip the dress past your waist, then you won't be able to zip the top up. Each dress has a specific sizing chart. The reason for the difference is because you must have selected a plus size (2XL, 3XL or 4XL).  There's a $10.00 difference for the larger sizes.

I just received this dress in teal today and it will work nicely. However, I'm wondering how you suggest I remove the wrinkles without harming the fabric?

So glad that you received the dress and that it will work out for you.  A few ideas to remove the wrinkles is to perhaps go to a dry cleaner to remove the wrinkles or you can try a few of these home remedies.

As for the length, it will be approximately 58 inches from the top of the shoulder to the bottom hem. For even more information see the description. You could use a tape measure to see where the dress would fall from your shoulder down 58 inches.

I see that the description shows the jacket is not lined, is there a lined jacket option? is this something you guys are able to do?

This particular jacket does not have an option for the jacket to be lined. If you wanted lining, you would have to have a seamstress do this for you. This dress is made in both gold and dusty rose, but not a gold rose.
