IndieFit.com has been known to sell knock-off formal dresses

After investigating IndieFit.com, it has been discovered that this website is from Asia and they sell formal dresses that are not from the original designer, but copies that they make based upon a picture. IndieFit has been added to our Do Not Buy list. They are illegally selling one or more dress lines using the manufacturers pictures or pictures from actual people without their permission. These dresses are imitations and not authentic from the actual designer. We have personally received many calls from people who have never received their order. Buyer beware!

"I really tried to give this website the benefit of the doubt and really trusted that they would deliver, but I really wish I would have listened to the reviews. To begin, the dress advertised was not the dress I received. There were clearly things missing (example: lace at certain areas) and multiple design flaws. When contacting customer service, I was instructed to send photographs outlining each issue - but, they really don't care - instead they said the dress looked "fine" and to "have a nice day!" - completely ignoring my complaints and the issues with the dress. The dress was "fine" according to their awful reproduction, but things were clearly missing/not the dress I ordered. Once they receive your money, they have no reason to follow through. They are located in China so they essentially DGAF because they can hide behind a computer screen. It's clear that they take popular designs and try to recreate it using cheap materials and terrible manufacturing. I'm at a loss of $250.00 and have a garbage dress I'll never wear - hoping this review will save you from the headache."
"We purchased a prom dress for our daughter. It is made very cheaply and is poor quality. They claim 100% satisfaction guaranteed, but when we asked for a return authorization number, they would not provide one saying that their country does not like to import clothing. They tried to get me to keep the dress and take a discount instead. I have sent at least 10 emails demanding the return authorization number, but each time they refuse to send it. They are a scam, and if you don't like your dress you are stuck with it. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!! There is no honor in them and they do not keep their word."

IndieFit.com has been added to our knock-off dress list. This company ships knock-off dresses from Asia and is trying to take advantage of consumers by selling dresses they claim to be authentic. This store uses images from manufacturers illegally under US copyright law.

Be extra safe when shopping online and do your research before buying from a company that you are not sure of!

False Advertising on quality and availability of clothing. Made the mistake of ordering from them a second time after forgetting I ordered from this company the first time and had a horrible experience. BOTH times, they falsely advertised the availability of items that are out of stock, so they will not send ANY of the items in your order until every item becomes available, which – TRUST ME- will be months… it will likely be an entire season later, when you can no longer wear the clothes you originally ordered anymore b/c the climate has changed. And they won’t split up the order for you as a courtesy even though they never communicated that any of the items you ordered were out of stock to begin with. So ,your choice is to wait for all items to be in stock, to cancel whatever items are not in stock and just have the others sent, or to wait for all to be in stock. It’s ridiculously horrible customer service. THEN, when they do arrive, they will look absolutely nothing like the high-quality items you saw on the website. You won’t like a single thing and will want to send them all back.

I was scammed too.. about 150.00 they are not returning my emails that I want a refund. I did pay through paypal, so hopefully they can help. Yes they advertise as Dress Fashion but items are from China, but shipped from somewhere her in the U.S.

They advertised their products were made in Charleston, SC. I live 3 hours from Charleston and never receive the items. Go to file a claim against them to get my money backi.

SCAM, advertised the blouses were made and shipped in USA. I reached out several times and no response. When I finally received the blouses they were made in CHINA

Our general return policy applies to all eligible products except certain dresses listed below. You may return product(s) within 7 days for either a store credit or you may make an exchange. We do not issue refunds. A store credit will be issued minus a 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returns/exchanges. We do not profit from this restocking fee since our suppliers charge us this fee. An RMA must be submitted for approval in order to return an item. Shipping fees, if any, which were applied at purchase are not refunded. Once the item is received, an email will be sent to you with a store credit code that does not expire or an exchange will be processed.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO RETURN AN ITEM?

We offer a 7-day return window for most purchases (exclusions listed below).

The return window begins when your package is marked "Delivered" by the tracking system. From that time, you have 7 days (including weekends and holidays) to make a return/exchange request. You will be unable to submit a return/exchange request after that 7-day period.

ABOUT RE:DO RETURNS

  • Customers now have the option to pay $1.98 at the time of purchase to later qualify for free returns on that order.
  • Didn’t add and checkout with Re:Do? You will still return like normal and purchase a label through them with discounted shipping rates saving you time and money!

WHAT ITEMS ARE EXCLUDED FROM RETURNS AND EXCHANGES?

The following items are not eligible for a return or exchange:

  • Clearance items (will be clearly marked "Clearance" or have the price that does not end in $xx.99 or $xx.98)
  • Wedding gowns
  • Quinceanera dresses
  • Cinderella Divine Black Label
  • Tiaras
  • Designer dresses by Andrea & Leo Couture and DeKlaire Bridal

ARE THERE ANY FEES FOR RETURNING AN ELIGIBLE ITEM?

The following fees are as follows:

  • If shipping was complimentary at checkout, original freight/handling cost will be deducted.
  • Customer is responsible for shipping costs on return/exchanged items if RE:DO was not added to your order at checkout.
  • A 15% restocking fee for all returns will be accessed.
  • Packages that are denied and "returned to sender" or refused will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.
  • Please note that any amount paid for shipping is non-refundable.

WHAT IF I WANT TO MAKE AN EXCHANGE?

If you would like to make an exchange for a different size or dress, simply submit an RMA by clicking here . Once approved, you will receive an email with instructions. The exchange process can take 7-12 days. Once the item has been received and approved, you will receive an email with a code that you can use to apply on our website to make an exchange. You will go through the checkout process online.

If time is of the essence, place a new order for the item you need, then contact us by email informing us of this decision. If for some reason the item that you ordered is not available, it will not constitute a refund. In such a case, a store credit will be issued once the original dress has been returned.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR RETURNED ITEMS?

  • Returns are carefully inspected; all original tags must be in place and the product must not show any signs of wear or damage.
  • Items found with snags, worn, washed, altered, ripped, stained, grease marks, pet hair, pen marks, perfume, deodorant stains, smoke odor and/or missing tags will be returned immediately at the customer's expense.
