Exchange Policy

We understand that there are going to be times when you purchase an item online and it doesn't fit properly. At DiscountDressShop.com, we want you to know that we ALLOW EXCHANGES. You can exchange for a different size, color and even a different dress.

If you did not want to make an exchange, but simply wanted to return the dress, please see our Return Policy

Conditions on Exchanges

  • A 15% restocking fee per item will be applied for one exchanged item.

  • A 20% restocking fee per item will be applied for two exchanged items.

  • No exchanges on orders of 3 or more dresses.

  • ONE TIME exchange allowed only. No REFUNDS.

  • MUST BE POSTMARKED within 5 business days of receiving order. (Subject to 35% restocking fee if later)

  • All sales final after 7 days.

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable in all cases.

  • In the event that the item you want to exchange for is not available, you will be issued a store credit by email.

  • Your credit card will be charged for the cost to ship the new item back and the appropriate restocking fee.

Exchange Instructions
  • Include your purchase invoice.

  • Fill out the back of the packing slip that you received with your shipment and complete the appropriate box depending on whether you want to return or exchange your item.

  • Replace the item(s) in the packaging in which it was received. Please make sure all tags and packaging are intact.

  • If the item was shipped to you in a box, please return it to us in a box. If you do not have the original box, use a sturdy box to prevent damage while in transit. We are not responsible for damage to product in transit back to us.

  • To ensure the package arrives back to us safely, please use a pre-paid, insured and trackable carrier such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, or Certified mail where you receive a shipping slip that can be used to track the delivery. Overnight shipping is not necessary.

IMPORTANT RESTRICTIONS
  • All sales are final after 7 days. Any returns or exchanges postmarked after 7 days of your receipt date will be returned to you at your shipping expense.

  • The dress must be unworn and in the same condition you received it. Any items returned to us without original tags in place, that appear to have been worn, washed, altered, stained, with odors (i.e. cigarette smoke) or that have been tampered with in any way will not receive credit in any form.

  • Customer is responsible for shipping costs on exchanged items

  • Merchandise must accompany its original protective covering, hangers, and/or similar accessories.

If for any reason these criteria's are not met, your item will be returned at your expense.
